The news is
overwhelming – nuclear war threatened, Texas, Mexico, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Las
Vegas; if you understand time as programmed, as did St. Paul, Augustine, Hegel
and Marx, it is apocalyptic. If you understand time as simply a measure of
motion, and events as determined by community choices, contemplation and action
are now an imperative. What do we do
about climate change, racism, gun control, income inequality?

straight line nor a circle.
It is a series of dots, tempting to
connect.”
